Job summary

Nutreco is seeking a Procurement / Agri-Commodity Analyst to join our Global Procurement team. You will analyze market developments, support sourcing decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen resilient supply chains for vegetable ingredients.

You will build market reports, forward curves, and KPI dashboards, turning data into actionable insights. Strong English communication, advanced Excel, and Power BI skills are essential, with a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

A bachelor's or master’s degree in business, procurement, supply chain management, economics, or a related field.
Genuine interest in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
In-depth knowledge about Agri-Commodities, markets and indices.
Experience with data analysis, reporting, or using data to support business decisions.
Proficiency with digital technologies and AI for value creation.
Advanced Excel skills and Power BI experience.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Structured, proactive work style with ownership and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Support the Category Manager with analyses related to category management and market developments.
Prepare market reports, dashboards, KPI tracking, and analyses for strategic sourcing decisions.
Gather, analyse, and communicate market intelligence to unlock value from volatility.
Develop and maintain forward-looking price curves for key commodities.
Collaborate across Procurement, Quality, R&D, Sustainability and other stakeholders.
Engage suppliers and market intelligence providers to strengthen forecasts and sourcing recommendations.
Support onboarding of new suppliers and materials with MD management and Quality.
Contribute ideas to continuous improvement and value-adding initiatives.
