Job summary

Navan is seeking an experienced Strategy & Operations Director in London to act as the operating right hand to the EVP of Specialty Travel & Events. This role blends Chief of Staff responsibilities with hands-on programme leadership to drive strategy into execution across post-merger integration with Boompop and development of Navan’s priority verticals.

You will align leaders, build operating cadence, track commitments, surface risks, and ensure initiatives move from idea to measurable outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience in a Chief of Staff or strategic operations role with high ownership.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-functional programmes and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and strategic judgement linking customer needs to execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Specialty Travel & Events portfolio with cross-functional strategy and execution.
• Translate customer/market needs into prioritised product, operations and roadmap.
• Drive market readiness with enablement, planning and feedback loops.
• Identify cross-vertical opportunities and scalable operating models.
• Collaborate with integration leads to align post-merger activities with priorities.
• Shape Navan Events priorities across product, service, and GTM models.
• Coordinate cross-functional programmes and manage dependencies and risks.
• Prepare executive updates with progress, decisions, risks and escalations.
• Design and run the operating cadence including leadership meetings.
• Ensure decisions translate into actionable, measurable outcomes.
