Navan Group is building a scalable managed-services organisation that combines Navan technology with deep event expertise. The Event Travel Specialist will support the delivery of large and complex programs for 10 or more persons attending the same meeting or event.

Based in the role, reporting to the Team Lead, Event Travel, the successful candidate will serve as the primary contact for a diverse portfolio of global corporate accounts across multiple sectors, providing best-in-class attendee

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a corporate travel environment, with group travel experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of corporate travel, with knowledge of GDS, fares and ticketing (Sabre preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills to track dates, timelines and policy guidelines.
  • Ability to handle multiple events concurrently with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Event Travel Lead to satisfy client goals and margins.
  • Source compliant itineraries and present commercially sound options.
  • Oversee end-to-end ticketing, exchanges, refunds and itinerary changes.
  • Manage booking processes for individuals and groups with precision.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while meeting service levels and milestones.
  • Communicate risks and feedback to leadership promptly.

Navan Events is bringing together its meetings and events businesses under a unified, technology-enabled operating model. We are building a scalable managed-services organisation that combines Navan technology with deep event expertise. The Event Travel Specialist will support the delivery of large and complex programs for 10 or more persons attending the same meeting or event. Ideally suited for an experienced travel professional, this role demands strong operational skills, superb client service, and an agile, proactive approach to problem-solving.

Based in and reporting to the Team Lead, Event Travel, The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact for a diverse portfolio of global corporate accounts across multiple sectors. Key responsibilities include providing best in class attendee support, managing end-to-end travel reservations including sourcing compliant itinerary options, issuing tickets, processing exchanges, and resolving complex travel needs in alignment with policy guidelines. This individual must excel both autonomously and collaboratively within a high-performing team structure.

The work
  • Collaborate with the Event Travel Lead across diverse meeting programs to maintain client satisfaction, meet established service level parameters, fulfill program deadlines, and hit commercial target margins.
  • Source compliant itinerary options and present commercially sound itineraries that meet client goals and budget limits.
  • Oversee end-to-end ticketing fulfillment, managing exchanges, processing refunds, and handling complex itinerary modifications.
  • Handle end-to-end booking processes for individual and group travel, maintaining complete precision across internal systems and documentation.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while ensuring agreed service levels and project milestones are achieved
  • Proactively communicate potential risks, operational challenges, and favorable account feedback directly to leadership.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and operate successfully in a fast-paced, transformation environment.

How success will be measured

Delivering exceptional client service and ensuring a seamless experience for attendees across the booking journey are critical to success, it will be measured by:

  • Achieving agreed service levels, productivity and response-time targets.
  • Maintaining high client and attendee satisfaction.
  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail and minimising booking or ticketing errors.
  • Managing changing priorities and urgent requests in a fast paced environment.
  • Building positive relationships with clients, travellers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a corporate travel environment, with group travel experience preferred
  • Excellent understanding of the corporate travel environment, with proficient knowledge of GDS systems, fares and ticketing, NDC. Sabre experience preferred.
  • Strong geographical and airline knowledge .
  • Exceptional organisational capabilities to track key option dates, program timelines and travel policy guidelines with high precision
  • The ability to work on multiple events concurrently, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Understanding of event registration, attendee-management and event-management platforms an advantage
  • Works independently and also operates as a key team player
  • Demonstrates an agile, proactive approach to problem-solving while maintaining composure and operating successfully in a fast paced environment
