Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Oslo seeks a Business Controller who will be more than a backward-looking analyst; you’ll partner with Key Account Managers and the sales organization to shape profitable customer relationships.

You translate data into actionable recommendations, manage trade spend and pricing, and support profitability. You will report to the Norwegian finance manager and collaborate with the Northern Europe Marketing team.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in controlling, ideally within FMCG.
• Strong understanding of trade spend mechanisms and pricing dynamics.
• Fluent English; Scandinavian language is a plus.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience working with remote colleagues is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as a commercial business partner to the Norwegian Retail Sales team.
• Control of customer and category performance.
• Analyze trade spend and ensure profitability.
• Lead budgeting, closing, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with marketing as an A&P cost controller for Norway.
• Build trust-based relationships across finance, sales, and marketing.
