Job summary

Yuno is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the Trust & Vault domain, focusing on card vaulting, tokenization, and authentication, ensuring PCI-compliant, secure, and scalable systems.

You will design and implement core infrastructure that underpins AI-native payments, including high-assurance security, and champion a You Build It, You Run It culture across multi-tenant, cloud-native services.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering exp with backend focus in Go and Kotlin.
• Experience architecting distributed systems with APIs (gRPC/REST) and cloud-native designs.
• Card-data security, PCI-DSS, or tokenization knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Own architecture of Trust & Vault including vaulting, authentication, and optimization.
• Build PCI-compliant, scalable card-data security infrastructure.
• Lead multi-team collaboration with Product, CTO Office, and Staff Engineers.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical vision with measurable outcomes.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and compliance in production services.
