Job summary

Middle Flint Health & Wellness seeks a full-time Day Center staff member in Americus, GA to support individuals per ISP plans. Shift 7:30 am–3:30 pm, handling transportation routes and community contracts to ensure progress is documented.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of direct care experience and a valid Georgia driver’s license, with preferred higher degrees in related fields.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or one year of experience at the lower level.

• Work with a group of up to 10 individuals at the Day Center and smaller groups in the community in accordance with ISP plans.

• Complete assigned transportation routes daily, which may include multiple morning and afternoon routes.
• Complete contracts in the community as assigned.
• Promote a safe learning environment.
• Document and track progress made throughout the day.
• Complete training as it is assigned.

Description of Duties

Shift Needs: 7:30 am-3:30 pm

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and one year experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals in a human service setting or associate degree in a related field or one year experience at the lower level or position equivalent (SSS010). Valid Georgia driver’s license is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field. 1 year experience in a social services setting
