Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Site Industrial Quality Manager to lead site quality activities at Matranovak. You will drive the industrial quality function, coordinate budget and resources, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards across production lines.

You will develop and deploy quality improvement programs, manage a team, and push digitalization of controls and processes to achieve zero defects. Fluency in Hungarian and English is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Welding Engineer qualification is a plus.
• Special Process Qualification minimum at Level 1 according to Quality Academy criteria.
• Experience in managing Quality tools and Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI)
• Fluent in Hungarian and English are mandatory, other European language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage site IQ activities : Budget, People, Process & Performance
• Lead the improvement plan for Industrial Quality requirements
• Ensure regular Process adherence to Quality and Industrial processes updating the Quality control plan to improve Zero Defect objective, especially for Special Processes
• Ensure Digitalization of Controls & Processes using innovations
• Perform analysis at site level to improve Industrial Quality Performance
• Escalate the main anomalies detected on the production lines at site level & ensure their effective treatment (Problem Solving tools).
• Stop the production if needed for mandatory reason (e.g. Safety impact needed rework)
• Lead quality animation methodology deployment, in line with Continuous Improvement system
• Manage & develop the industrial quality team, using Quality Academy process & yearly training / qualification plan

Requirements

Welding Engineer qualification/certification is a plus;
