Job summary

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Software Engineer or Platform Engineer.
• Strong expertise in modern web development with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Deep understanding of full-stack web architecture, including server-rendered apps, APIs, authentication/authorization, performance optimization, caching, debugging, profiling, observability.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms, with DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve the shared capabilities that power the company’s web platform.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to shape platform direction and technical strategy.
• Take ownership of complex technical problems from design through implementation and production.
• Design scalable architectures spanning APIs, databases, caches, queues, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
• Build self-service platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to develop and deploy independently.
• Continuously improve developer experience through tooling, automation, libraries, and CI/CD.
• Evaluate technical trade-offs and make pragmatic decisions for long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate across teams to build reusable platform capabilities that solve common engineering challenges.
• Mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
