Job summary

NES Fircroft in Stavanger seeks a Senior Subsea Engineer to lead planning, preparation and execution of IMR tasks onshore and offshore. You will act as company representative during offshore execution and lead maintenance planning for subsea assets.

The role requires a MSc/BSc in mechanical engineering or subsea, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in English and Norwegian. Offshore experience with ROV systems is preferred, and HSSEQ performance is emphasized.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in mechanical engineering, subsea, controls/cybernetics, marine tech or similar subjects
• Strong analytics skill
• English and Norwegian language working proficiency
• Strong contributor to HSSEQ performance and culture
• Experience from offshore operations, ROV systems (operations and/or maintenance) is preferred
• Certificate of apprenticeship within relevant subject will be appreciated

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, preparing and execution of onshore and offshore IMR tasks
• Contribute to analysis and improvement proposals and implementation of these
• Utilise competence within maritime subjects
• Method development and review of IMR scope
• Close corporation with IMR supplier
• Act as company representative during offshore execution
• Lead and plan maintenance scope for subsea assets as requested
• Cost and schedule follow up and reporting
• Structuring and complementing collected data such as video, subsea status management, lessons learned etc.
