Job summary

Head Energy in Rogaland, Stavanger region, seeks an experienced Subsea Engineer to join our offshore IMR team. You will participate in planning, executing IMR tasks onshore and offshore, and contribute to continuous improvements across subsea assets.

You will use your mechanical engineering background and offshore experience to guide method development, data management and liaison with IMR suppliers, acting as a strong company representative during offshore operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, subsea, controls/cybernetics, marine tech or similar.
• Strong analytical skills and English and Norwegian language proficiency.
• Experience from offshore operations; ROV systems preferred.
• Certificate of apprenticeship within relevant subject appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, preparing and execution of onshore and offshore IMR tasks.
• Contribute to analysis and improvement proposals and implementation of these.
• Utilize competence within maritime subjects.
• Method development and review of IMR scope.
• Close corporation with IMR supplier; act as company representative offshore.
• Lead and plan maintenance scope for subsea assets and report costs and schedules.
• Structure and complement collected data such as video, subsea status management, and lessons learned.
