Job summary
L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS) seeks an experienced Underwater Field Technician to support underwater installation, cabling, testing, commissioning, and maintenance across project sites in Norway. The role involves installing underwater camera systems connected to the main control centre via hard-wired marine cabling.
The ideal candidate has hands-on subsea/offshore experience, preferably from Oil & Gas pipelines, subsea construction, offshore cable installation, or marine engineering
Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on technician experience in subsea, underwater, offshore or marine projects.
- Proven experience in underwater/subsea engineering and installation work.
- Experience in Oil & Gas pipeline or subsea pipeline projects is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with underwater/subsea cable laying and with optical fibre/fiber optic cables.
Responsibilities
- Support underwater installation, cabling, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities for project sites across Norway.
- Install underwater camera systems connected to the main control centre through hard-wired marine cabling.
- Ensure safe and efficient execution of subsea installation tasks in offshore environments.
