Job summary

Advela AS, on behalf of a client, is seeking a skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer in Oslo, Norway. You will contribute to the design of state-of-the-art gas and fume treatment systems, focusing on structural integrity, safety, and efficiency.

In this role you will build 3D models, develop detailed drawings, and perform foundation load calculations, leveraging solid software knowledge and hands-on experience to deliver robust solutions that support environmental control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a structural design engineer for steel structures, filters, ducts, and supports.
• Experience in building 3D models and creating detailed drawings.
• Knowledge of foundation load calculations and structural analysis.
• Solid knowledge of relevant software and equipment.

As a Sr Structural Design Engineer, some of your major responsibilities will be to:

• Perform calculations for structural steel, filters, ducts and stairs & walkways.
• Perform calculations of foundation loads.
• Perform design work by building 3D models and create detailed drawings.
