We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Svalbard As a Civil Engineer you will be responsible for conducting structural design and analysis for various construction projects This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and architects to ensure the successful completion of projects

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structural design and analysis for various construction projects including buildings bridges roads and other infrastructure
• Prepare detailed drawings plans and specifications using computer-aided design CAD software
• Review project proposals and recommend changes or improvements to meet safety standards and building codes
• Work closely with architects contractors and other engineers to ensure the structural integrity of designs
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Analyze soil reports and make recommendations for foundation design
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments advancements in technology and changes in building codes

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis
• Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
• Knowledge of building codes safety standards and construction processes
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset

Salary $1500 per month without accommodation
