Job summary

Landmark, a Halliburton company, is expanding its Oslo engineering team to build the inner-loop developer experience. You will define what a great inner loop looks like and implement these standards across repositories for engineers and AI agents.

The role owns automated audits, scorecards, reference implementations, and the agent‑facing conventions layer, coordinating with DevOps and Platform Engineering to align with CI/CD, deployment and observability.

Qualifications

• Significant industry experience as a software engineer at senior or staff level.
• Deep expertise in software build systems, test infrastructure, and local development environments.
• Practical experience with modern AI-assisted development workflows and their integration into delivery.
• Strong written communication for standards, reports and design docs.
• Autonomous work style with ability to prioritize many improvements and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience building and operating internal developer platforms.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical standards for Landmark repositories including build, test, lint, environment setup, docs and machine-readable conventions.
• Design and operate automated audits with scorecards and follow-through with repository owners.
• Lead remediation of pilot repositories and establish reference implementations.
• Own the agent-facing conventions layer including templates, review process and rollout plan.
• Integrate internal tooling with source control, chat, issue tracking and feature management; include Model Context Protocol where applicable.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Platform Engineering to align inner-loop tooling with outer-loop platform (CI/CD, deployment, observability).
• Represent Developer Experience in cross-functional discussions on standards and hiring for the team.
