Job summary

Sensio is seeking a Dev Lead for RoomMate to steer the technical direction, quality and delivery of our RoomMate product. You will lead a team of eight engineers, collaborating with product, ML, hardware and engineering colleagues to move the project forward at pace.

The role requires deep embedded software and hardware understanding, ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on coding, and the capacity to translate sensor and platform constraints into clear priorities.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of embedded Linux and C++ for room sensors.
• Experience leading a team of engineers.
• Ability to translate hardware constraints into software priorities.
• Experience with sensors, embedded hardware, and on-edge ML.

Responsibilities

• Lead the RoomMate development team and manage daily priorities.
• Set technical direction and architecture decisions.
• Drive quality and delivery across embedded software and hardware.
• Collaborate with product, ML, and hardware teams.
• Participate in strategic planning with CPTO and other leads.
