Job summary

KONGSBERG Discovery seeks a Senior Sales Manager to drive growth in underwater mapping across Europe and Africa. You will own a geographic area, lead the sale of multibeam echosounder solutions, and collaborate with customers, partners, and integrators to deliver value-driven outcomes.

You will work with a broad portfolio, including GNSS, INS, ADCPs, SBES, SAS, and cloud-based software, and join a high-performing international sales team focused on sustainable revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of international sales experience in maritime technology or related industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent operational naval background.
• Experience with CRM platforms like Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce.
• Knowledge of sonar technology, unmanned systems, hydrography, or seabed mapping is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English and willing to travel internationally.
• Demonstrated success in developing, presenting, and negotiating complex commercial and technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Drive the complete sales process from opportunity identification through contract negotiation and closure.
• Lead complex bids, proposals, and solution development.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities and applications for KONGSBERG Discovery solutions.
• Serve as the primary commercial interface for customers, ensuring long-term trust and successful collaboration.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage forecasting activities and sales KPIs.
• Represent KONGSBERG Discovery at industry exhibitions, conferences, customer demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and business strategy.
