Job summary

AutoStore is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead safety electronics design, including wireless communication and redundancy, across multiple products. You will work hands-on with PCB design, architecture, and validation, guiding peers and collaborating with certification partners to ensure safe, reliable solutions from design to production.

The role emphasizes planning, documentation, and delivering technical milestones in a rapidly growing Norwegian company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electronics engineering experience with wireless communication and safety electronics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Cybernetics/Robotics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience across full PCB development cycle—from architecture and schematic design to layout, bring-up, validation and release to production (EMC-aware).
• Experience with functional safety and compliance for industrial products (IEC 61508, ISO 13849, IEC 62061).

Responsibilities

• Safety Electronics: drive design and development from architecture to production release.
• Technical Expertise: develop safety logic and redundancy for electronics safety competence.
• Product Development: apply expertise across AutoStore product portfolio including wireless solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: coordinate activities across disciplines and with external safety certification partners.
• Planning & Delivery: provide visibility on technical deliverables, documentation, and milestones.
