Job summary

V7 Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our project delivery team on data centre construction in Kristiansand, Norway. You will take ownership of the commercial strategy and financial performance, leading procurement, subcontractor negotiations and final accounts.

You will manage costs, valuations, forecasting and cashflow, oversee variations and claims, and provide accurate reporting to senior management while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Significant experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with cost management, procurement, contracts and change control.

V7 Recruitment are working with a leading construction and data centre delivery specialist to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their project delivery team in Vaasa, Finland and Kristiansand, Norway.

The Role

What We're Looking For

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong experience across cost management, procurement, contracts and change control.
• Experience delivering complex design and build projects and high-value contracts.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, ideally including NEC and JCT.
• Data centre, mission-critical or other technically complex project experience would be highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience supporting and developing junior commercial staff.
• Chartered membership of RICS, CIOB or equivalent would be advantageous.
