Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Norway is hiring a Senior Account Manager to lead transformative deals and redefine how Public Sector Norway innovates with cloud and AI. Based in Oslo, you will own the go-to-market strategy, drive revenue growth, and build long-term strategic relationships with key Norwegian public sector accounts.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, accelerate customer adoption, and report to the Norwegian Leadership as you shape how AWS partners with public sector

Qualifications

• Sales experience in management of large, complex public sector accounts or equivalent.
• Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision-making processes in public sector customers.
• Solving problems with technology in the Public Sector industries experience.
• Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools.
• Norwegian-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Deep understanding of cloud, infrastructure, data, analytics, and AI/ML with ability to translate technology into strategic business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted senior relationships with strategic public sector accounts. Foster partnerships anchored on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Organization, Marketing, Customer Success) to solve customers' most complex business and technical challenges.
• Identify transformational opportunities, de-risk execution, and replicate success through scalable plays and mechanisms.
• Use data and metrics to manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.
• Represent AWS at industry events and evangelize our innovation across Public Sector
• Accelerate customer adoption & develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
• Travel as necessary
