Your Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end steering, execution, and governance of a large SAP Public cloud based S/4 transformation program involving multiple functional modules and processes which includes Strategy to Assortment, Demand to Fulfil, Source to Pay, Order to Cash, Store Operations & Record to Report. You will serve as the single point of accountability for program outcomes, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, disciplined execution, high quality, and transparent governance across global, regional, and workstream teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall Project steerage, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed business vision, roadmap, and objectives.
- Drive end‑to‑end execution across all phases: Discover, Design, Build, Test, Deploy, and Stabilize.
- Ensure alignment with business strategy, digital roadmap, and enterprise architecture.
- Ensure seamless coordination across functional, technical, and vendor teams.
- Stakeholder & Executive management; act as primary contact between C‑level executives, business leaders, and delivery teams.
- Design and operationalize program governance, including Steering Committee, Program Management Office (PMO), Architecture & Integration Boards.
- Define governance cadence, decision frameworks, and escalation paths.
- Govern design decisions, scope changes, and deviations with structured approvals.
- Define scope, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and quality targets.
- Monitor status, risks, dependencies, and track overall project health.
- Define and enforce a robust Quality Assurance framework across all workstreams and ensure continuous improvement in delivery effectiveness and transparency.
- Manage financials, including Budget planning, tracking, and forecasting.
- Manage vendor contracts, SOWs, and delivery commercials.
- Lead cutover planning, deployment readiness, go‑live decisioning, and business sign‑offs.
- Ensure smooth hypercare delivery and transition to AMS or Business‑As‑Usual (BAU).
- Partner with OCM teams to ensure communication, training, and business readiness.
- Coordinate across global teams and offshore/onshore delivery models.
Must Have
- 11+ years experience managing & leading large, complex SAP enterprise programs
- Minimum 2 years of public cloud implementations
- Proven experience for SAP transformations
- Strong expertise in Project governance, Risk & issue management, Budget & resource management, Stakeholder communication, Executive reporting, Vendor/partner management
- Experience leading global, multi‑vendor delivery models
- Experience with Agile/Hybrid delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and conflict‑resolution skills
- Ability to lead culturally diverse teams across geographies
- Strong decision‑making, negotiation, and influencing capabilities
- High level of ownership, accountability, and strategic thinking
- Certified in SAP public cloud implementation
Nice to have
- Experience with RISE with SAP –Private Cloud programs
- Experience in Retail / Wholesale Grocery/CPG/Manufacturing
- SAP Project Management/ SAP Activate certification
