Job summary

Ubank, based in Sydney, seeks a senior Product Governance Manager to drive governance cadences, controls, and regulatory obligations across investing and banking products. You will collaborate with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Product, Technology, Digital, and Operations to document obligations, design controls, and maintain governance artefacts.

You will lead ongoing oversight, remediation, and reporting to ensure compliance, customer outcomes, and effective control environments across the product

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years product management and development experience, ideally in investing and banking products.
• Product governance experience in retail investment structures such as IDPS, MIS, Managed Accounts in Wrap and/or Super environments.
• Thorough understanding of licensing, obligations, controls, and personal advice for retail investment products.

Responsibilities

• Governance cadence, reporting, and forums: establish and maintain a forward-looking governance framework and calendar.
• Produce high-quality papers, submissions, and reporting to support governance forums and decisions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Product, Technology, Digital, and Operations on obligations and controls.
• Identify and document regulatory obligations and design, implement, and maintain effective controls.
• Lead investment and vendor oversight, TMD monitoring, and ensure DDO compliance across products.
• Translate regulatory requirements into product, system, and operational changes and manage remediation.
