Checkout.com in London seeks a Senior Manager, Regulatory Inspections and Strategic Response to oversee regulatory inspections end-to-end and guide high-stakes responses across the organisation.

You will coordinate across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Commercial, Product, Tech and Communications, owning strategy, timelines and disclosures to stabilise critical matters.

This is a role to build the function, setting operating models and playing a pivotal part in 2027 with a small team of specialists.

Formación

• Significant experience in managing regulatory inspections and engagement in payments/fintech.
• Methodical, meticulous approach to project management.
• Proven ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong ability to work with ambiguity and provide clear decisions.
• Commercially pragmatic: balance regulatory risk with business goals.
• Excellent stakeholder management with regulators, auditors, and executives.
• Experience or readiness to build and lead a team.

Responsabilidades

• Own regulatory inspections end-to-end.
• Act as the single accountable owner for regulatory inspections and reviews.
• Run each inspection as a programme: strategy, timeline, evidence gathering, submissions, rehearsals.
• Coordinate between business and regulator as primary point of contact.
• Protect disclosures and confidential supervisory information; inform executives and boards.
• Drive post-mortems and continuous improvement after engagements.
• Lead the response to sensitive, escalated situations with pace and judgement.
• Establish the operating model and playbooks for a new function within Checkout.com.
• Hire, develop and lead a small team of specialists.
