Zest4Talent is recruiting a Senior/Principal Transport Planner for development planning projects in the UK. The role involves leading development-led transport studies, coordinating with clients and authorities, and guiding schemes from feasibility through planning to delivery.

You will work in a hybrid setup across South East & South West offices, with clear progression from Senior to Principal level and opportunities to shape the team’s growth and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong UK development planning experience and ability to manage own projects and client relationships.
• Experience across residential, mixed-use, retail, commercial or regeneration developments is relevant.
• Professional membership of CIHT, TPS, CILT or working toward this would be welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage development-led transport planning projects.
• Prepare and review Transport Assessments and Transport Statements; travel plans and feasibility studies.
• Use TRICS and TEMPro; perform junction modelling with Junctions, LinSig or similar.
• Liaise with developers, planning consultants, architects and local authorities; manage budgets and client expectations.
