Qualifications

• UK highways and infrastructure design experience.
• Knowledge of S278 / S38 approvals and drainage agreements.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and associated software.
• Understanding of DMRB, Manual for Streets and relevant design standards.
• Strong communication and technical coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Membership of CIHT, ICE or similar professional body advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highway and infrastructure design projects from concept through to detailed design
• Prepare highways, active travel and drainage designs
• Work on Section 278, Section 38 and associated technical approvals
• Produce detailed drainage layouts, profiles and technical drawings
• Coordinate with clients, local authorities and multi-disciplinary teams
• Contribute to road safety, transport and infrastructure projects
• Support project delivery to agreed timescales and budgets

The Role
