Job summary

Ikm Gruppen AS in Stord is seeking an experienced engineer to develop and maintain detailed work orders in PIMS PES, including estimates, drawings, procedures and material lists. You will collaborate with engineering, planning and commissioning teams to ensure prerequisites are met and safety is prioritized.

You will review HSSE aspects, identify risks, and suggest improvements to work preparation processes. Fluency in Norwegian and strong English are required; offshore mobility is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical education (vocational or engineering degree) with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry or related industry, preferably within construction or commissioning.
• Familiarity with mechanical completion and commissioning completion processes and digital tools, such as PIMS CMS or PIMS PES.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings (P&IDs, ISO) and ability to interpret technical documentation.
• Fluency in Norwegian, with a good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in preparing mechanical work packages is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to meet offshore mobility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed work orders in PIMS PES, including man-hour estimates, drawings, procedures, and material lists.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure all prerequisites are met prior to execution.
• Review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, and ensure compliance with HSSE and project implementation models.
• Identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and actively contribute to lessons learned.
