Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant oil and gas industry experience.
• Extensive experience with static mechanical equipment in offshore environments.
• Experience from commissioning, handover, start-up, or operational support phases.
• Strong understanding of technical integrity and mechanical systems.
• Experience with completion processes, technical deviations, and punch lists.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English and Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the operations organization, both at the yard and offshore.
• Manage the handover process to operations, ensuring documentation, spare parts, and maintenance plans are complete.
• Conduct yard follow-up, including participation in technical reviews, inspections, and equipment verification with suppliers.
• Establish and adapt necessary maintenance and inspection programs.
• Handle technical deviations and manage punch lists through to completion.
• Ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination.
