Job summary

IKM Consultants AS is seeking a driven engineer for offshore oil and gas projects in Bergen. The role involves study work, project engineering, and offshore site visits to support maintenance and modification work.

You'll collaborate across disciplines, ensure compliance with PTIL, NORSOK, and ISO standards, and prepare technical inquiries while coordinating with suppliers. Assignment runs Sept 2026 to Dec 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with maintenance and modification work.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with regulations and standards (PTIL, NORSOK, ISO).
• Valid Basic Safety Course certificate.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multidisciplinary understanding and strong collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with major operator's company-specific requirements preferred.
