Job summary

IKM Stavanger is seeking a maintenance engineer to oversee daily offshore electrical and instrument maintenance. You will collaborate with discipline leads, technicians, management, and onshore support to ensure safe and efficient execution, coordinating activities within your discipline and planning two-week work orders and campaigns.

Preferred candidates have offshore experience, SAP knowledge, and strong HSE awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Relevant maintenance engineering experience onshore or offshore.
• Operational offshore experience is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP and core operating systems.
• Technical knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and instrument equipment.
• Practical familiarity with equipment and offshore installations is preferred.
• Insight into HSE conditions on offshore installations regarding technical, operational, and human factors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safe and efficient execution of maintenance work with offshore discipline leads and onshore teams.
• Coordinate work within the designated discipline area.
• Develop plans for two-week work order schedules and campaign-based maintenance.
• Contribute to startup and development of digitally integrated systems.

• Facilitate the safe and efficient execution of maintenance work in collaboration with offshore discipline leads, technicians, management, and onshore support teams.
• Coordinate work within the designated discipline area.
• Develop plans for activities related to two-week work order schedules and campaign-based maintenance.
• Contribute actively to the start-up and further development of modern, digitally integrated systems.

Required expertise

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Relevant maintenance engineering experience onshore or offshore.
• Operational offshore experience is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of and experience with SAP and core operating systems.
• Technical knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and instrument equipment.
