Job summary

Energy As in Stavanger is seeking an experienced electrical engineer for design and package responsibility on offshore modification projects. You will define heat trace requirements, review MTOs, and ensure compliant electrical designs per NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC standards.

The role requires collaboration across disciplines, strong communication in English, and a proactive, systematic approach. Site surveys and vendor follow-up form part of the daily work to deliver safe, efficient electrical

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant area.
• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical engineering on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
• Experience with electrical design per NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC.
• Knowledge of IEC 61850 and related protocols (GOOSE, MMS, PTP, SV).
• Experience with HV/LV systems and supplier solutions.
• Cyber security in electrical systems (IEC 62443).

Required Education

• Bachelor or Master degree within relevant area

Required/Preferred Work Experience ( Minimum 5years)

• Experience from electrical engineering in modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
• Experience and knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standard such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC.
• technical requirements and tools/software from offshore operators
• IEC 61850 and latest protocols/interfaces (GOOSE, MMS, PTP,SV) ( preferred )
• Suppliers technical solutions for High and Low Voltage systems and philosophies for system design
• Cyber security in electrical systems(IEC 62443 as IACS/OT)

• Grunnleggende EX kurs - Minimum 6-8 timer online eller 22,5 timer i klasserom
• FSE høy og lavspent med praktisk førstehjelp
