Job summary

Odfjell Technology Ltd. in Stavanger, Norway, invites a Senior Innovation and Development Engineer to lead product development from concept to commercialization within a multinational team.

You will drive innovative solutions across Well Services product lines, collaborate with Product Line Managers and global colleagues, and mentor less experienced engineers while embracing travel to support projects across our global operations.

Qualifications

• We require a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of product design experience, preferably in oil & gas.
• Proven experience in mechanical design from concept to manufacture.
• Strong CAD skills are mandatory.
• Experience with product assembly, testing and validation.
• Knowledge of industry standards and design requirements.
• FMEA, CFD and FEA experience desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Mentoring capability for less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development projects from concept through manufacturing.
• Plan and supervise prototype assembly, testing and validation.
• Perform development studies, simulations, and analyses.
• Maintain technical documentation across lifecycles.
• Collaborate with global teams and key customers.
• Drive continuous improvement across the value chain.
• Support product development for TRS, WBC, and R&A lines.
