Job summary

Odfjell Technology seeks a Senior Innovation and Development Engineer to lead product development from concept through design, testing, manufacturing and implementation. Based in Stavanger, Norway or Aberdeen, UK, you will work with a multinational team to deliver innovative Well Services technology.

You will drive studies, simulations and validations, collaborate with global stakeholders, and contribute to TRS, WBC and R&A projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years of product design experience, preferably in oil and gas.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in product development.
Strong experience with CAD software is mandatory.
Experience with FMEA, CFD, and FEA is desirable.
Knowledge of TRS is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Lead product development projects from concept through manufacturing and implementation.
Plan and lead prototype assembly, testing, and validation.
Conduct development studies, simulations, and analyses.
Maintain technical documentation throughout project lifecycles.
Collaborate with global teams and customers.
Drive continuous improvement across the value chain.
Support product development across Well Services lines including TRS, WBC and R&A.
