Aker BP is seeking an experienced Seismic Acquisition professional to lead planning and execution of seismic data acquisition projects across multiple Norwegian sites. You will work closely with processing teams and external partners to ensure data quality and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal stakeholders, adherence to safety standards, and leveraging new technologies to improve seismic data acquisition and processing capabilities.

Formación

• Master's degree in Geology/Geophysics or similar; relevant experience can compensate.
• At least 5-10 years experience in seismic acquisition, processing/imaging, or project management.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Plan seismic data acquisition projects (site surveys, 3D/4D/OBN/VSP/DAS) including tender processes and technical parameter discussions.
• Manage and proactively follow up of seismic data acquisition projects (QC/QA, budgeting, liaise with authorities/fisheries, QHSE).
• Stakeholder management of internal, external, operators, partners, authorities, research institutes, universities, etc.
• Be part of the duty rotation during acquisition.
• Monitor industry development and drive innovation (R&D) of novel seismic acquisition technologies.
• Utilize agentic workflows for planning & project management.
