Job summary

Falkor invites a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to design, build, and continuously improve Falkor Horizon and the platform capabilities it depends on. You will contribute across frontend and backend, own features from idea to production, and help the team deliver reliable, intuitive, and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and Angular.
• Good understanding of API design, object-oriented programming, system design, and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with distributed systems, databases, caching, messaging, and cloud-native architecture.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing, debugging, observability, and CI/CD for production services and web applications.
• Experience with one or more relevant data technologies, such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB or TimescaleDB.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to help design, build, and continuously improve Falkor Horizon and the platform capabilities it depends on. In this role, you will contribute across frontend and backend, take ownership of features from idea to production, and help the team deliver reliable, intuitive, and scalable solutions. We are looking for a flexible, hands-on engineer who can get up to speed quickly and contribute where the team needs it most.

What You’ll Do

• Build and improve end-to-end product features across frontend and backend.
• Develop intuitive web experiences and scalable backend services, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Own features through design, implementation, testing, release, and observability.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience across both frontend and backend.
• Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and a modern frontend framework, preferably Angular.
• Good understanding of API design, object-oriented programming, system design, and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with distributed systems, databases, caching, messaging, and cloud-native architecture.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing, debugging, observability, and CI/CD for production services and web applications.
• Experience with one or more relevant data technologies, such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB or TimescaleDB.

Nice to Have

• Experience building complex web applications, design systems, data visualization, or workflow-oriented user interfaces.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure or AWS.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, security best practices, and resilient production-grade services.
• Experience with industrial software, digital twins, data platforms, analytics, or GenAI/LLM-enabled product capabilities.
