Job summary

Six Robotics is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to build and evolve a customer-facing GUI for autonomous UAVs. You will work with a team of engineers to turn complex real-time data into clear, reliable interfaces.

You should bring hands-on React and TypeScript expertise, strong architectural understanding, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with designers and other teams to ship robust frontend features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, building and maintaining complex applications.
• Deep, hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
• A strong understanding of frontend architecture and how the frontend fits into a larger system.
• The ability to work autonomously, make sound technical decisions, and move forward when not everything is fully defined.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders.
• A high bar for quality, with strong attention to detail and maintainable software.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve our customer-facing GUI using React and TypeScript.
• Develop frontend solutions for real-time systems prioritising reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to take features from idea to production.
• Tackle frontend problems with the wider system in mind for long-term maintainability.
• Contribute to frontend quality through code reviews and engineering practices.
