Job summary

Six Robotics, based in Oslo, is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own the interface for Valkyrie, enabling real-time control, situational awareness, and trust in autonomous assets in the field.

You'll lead design end-to-end, shape a product domain at an early stage, and start building a growing design team while collaborating with engineers, operators, and product teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience as a product designer (UX/UI) with a track record leading complex products end-to-end.
• Strong visual design sense with emphasis on craft, plus deep UX thinking in flows and systems.
• Experience in complex systems and B2B product development.
• Experience mentoring other designers or leading a design team.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for key GCS capabilities from concept through launch.
• Own end-to-end product feature design from problem framing to shipped UI.
• Collaborate with engineers, autonomy teams, product, and operators to translate requirements into workflows.
• Drive wireframes, prototypes, specs, and implementation support.
• Test with real users and iterate continuously.
• Define and maintain a coherent design system and visual language for real-time control.
• Contribute to roadmap prioritization and product vision for the GCS domain.
