Job summary

Jobgether, based in Norway, is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer (React & React Native) to join a partner-led frontend team. You will build modern web and mobile experiences using React and React Native, shaping features across front-office portals while improving performance and maintainability.

You will own frontend components, collaborate across disciplines, implement tests with Jest and Cypress, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional frontend experience.
• Strong JavaScript and React fundamentals.
• Advanced React (18+) with hooks, context, and modern patterns.
• Expert TypeScript with advanced types and strict configs.
• Experience with Redux/MobX/Zustand or comparable solutions.
• SPA and PWA development experience.
• RESTful and GraphQL API integration.
• Experience with modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• 1–2+ years of React Native development.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level or higher.
• Experience with design systems or component libraries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess business requirements and plan practical frontend implementations.
• Develop new UI components and enhance web apps using React and TypeScript.
• Build responsive, high-quality front-office features for web and mobile.
• Participate in mobile development with React Native and cross-platform SDKs.
• Refactor code for maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Optimize frontend performance across browsers and devices.
• Identify and fix bugs in production and staging environments.
• Work with Redux, MobX, Zustand for robust app architectures.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs in frontend projects.
• Implement automated tests with Jest and Cypress.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern dev workflows.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate progress clearly.
• Drive improvements in development processes and tooling.
