Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior FP&A Expert for Financial Task Design and Evaluation, focusing on AI-driven financial workflows. The role requires extensive FP&A experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to design realistic tasks and reference solutions for evaluating AI models.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience, or equivalent expertise.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capabilities with transparent formulas and documented assumptions.
• Experience managing or supporting FP&A processes: budgets, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, headcount planning, and investment evaluations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, including cash flow, balance sheets, income statements, working capital and liquidity.
• Proven ability to build scenario-based financial models, evaluate assumptions, and assess impact on performance.
• Experience reconciling complex financial information across spreadsheets, contracts, and management reports.
• Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify errors, inconsistencies, and unsupported conclusions.
• Excellent written English communication skills for detailed task instructions and executive reports.
• Ability to establish evaluation standards and recognise valid alternative methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic FP&A tasks and business scenarios reflecting complex financial planning, forecasting, and corporate decision-making processes.
• Develop comprehensive financial models and reference solutions using Excel with transparent formulas and documented assumptions.
• Create practical exercises covering annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, headcount planning, and investment evaluations.
• Build and assess integrated financial analyses including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts, working capital, liquidity, and other indicators.
• Develop complex business scenarios using multiple information sources such as spreadsheets, contracts, emails, and management presentations.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated financial models, analyses, and recommendations for technical accuracy and business relevance.
• Identify material financial errors, unsupported assumptions, inconsistencies, calculation issues, and weaknesses in models or conclusions.
• Establish clear evaluation frameworks and acceptance criteria, recognizing reasonable alternative methodologies.
• Prepare precise task instructions, reference answers, and concise executive explanations communicating financial findings.
• Apply structured evaluation guidelines with evidence-based justifications for assessments.
• Contribute FP&A knowledge to develop benchmarks measuring AI performance on complex finance tasks.
