Job summary

Cititec is seeking an experienced Estimator to join a hyperscale data centre construction project in Norway. You will support cost management from initial enquiry through tender submission, reviewing drawings and specs, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, ability to interpret technical drawings, and a track record in preparing accurate cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Experience as Estimator or similar commercial role.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with estimating and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Obtain and assess quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare bills of quantities and pricing schedules where required.
• Identify project risks, exclusions and potential cost variations.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team.
• Maintain accurate records of costs, quotations and estimates.
• Support the commercial team throughout the tender and pre-construction process.
