Job summary

Norsk Hydro is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to shape Hydro’s enterprise-wide IT landscape and lead the evolution of its Target State Architecture with a strategic focus on AI governance and responsible AI. You will bridge business strategy, governance, and technology across global business areas and the internal service provider, ensuring coherent architecture aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum ten years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong expertise across EA domains: business, data, applications, technology, security, governance.
Solid understanding of AI architecture, generative AI, ML, AI agents, and responsible AI.
Experience with I&T processes in M&A and multinational, divisional organizations.
Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable IT architecture and clear value.
Excellent communication and collaboration with senior management and business leaders.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain Hydro’s enterprise-wide architectural direction, including Target State Architectures, standards, policies and guardrails.
Embed risk-based AI governance into architecture decisions and define requirements for responsible AI.
Analyze current and future IT states to identify gaps and guide major initiatives and the IT Strategy Roadmap.
Collaborate with IT Security, Privacy, Data, GRC, Legal, Procurement and Business Areas; lead architectural work in M&A and ensure cross-portfolio alignment.
