Job summary

Hydro is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define and lead the organization’s architectural direction, with a strong emphasis on AI governance and data privacy compliance. You will shape the Target State Architecture, establish standards, and guardrails to enable strategic initiatives across IT and business functions.

You will collaborate across IT Security, Privacy, Data, GRC, Legal, and Procurement, guiding major enterprise-scale programs and M&A initiatives while translating

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• Ten+ years of relevant experience in a senior architecture role.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong expertise across business, data, applications, technology, security, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Hydro’s enterprise-wide architectural direction.
• Develop the Target State Architecture, frameworks, standards, policies, principles, and guardrails.
• Embed Hydro’s risk-based AI Governance Model into architecture decisions.
• Define requirements for responsible AI, including explainability, human oversight, model drift detection, and data privacy compliance.
• Analyze current and future IT states to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Provide strategic architectural insight to senior management.
• Guide major enterprise-scale initiatives and the IT Strategy Roadmap.
• Collaborate with IT Security, Privacy, Data, GRC, Legal, Procurement, and Business Areas.
• Lead architectural work in mergers and acquisitions.
• Ensure cross-portfolio alignment.
• Lead and mature Hydro’s Enterprise Architecture practice.
• Provide guidance and direction to IT teams and stakeholders.
