Job summary

Cegal EnergyX in Stavanger seeks a proactive Senior Project Manager to lead selected customer projects, coordinate delivery across internal teams and build strong customer relationships. You will monitor budgets, risks and milestones to ensure delivery aligns with scope and commercial expectations.

Ideally you bring experience managing complex projects in the energy sector, strong stakeholder communication, and familiarity with project management tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, customer management or service delivery, including coordinating resources, risks and dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and experience following up contracts and purchase orders.
• A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage selected customer projects from planning through delivery.
• Coordinate activities, resources, dependencies and priorities across project teams.
• Monitor project progress, financial performance and delivery risks.
• Monitor and follow up on project budgets, costs, revenue and financial forecasts, ensuring budget compliance and proactively addressing deviations.
• Build trusted customer relationships and maintain clear, structured communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate customer deliveries, including Managed Services activities where relevant.
• Follow up contracts, master agreements, purchase orders and other commercial aspects of delivery.
• Manage operational escalations and drive issues through to resolution.
• Depending on team needs, take on people-management responsibilities such as resource coordination, employee follow-up and growth dialogues.
