Monil in Norway is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to build world-class livestock monitoring devices. You will own firmware from concept to deployment, focusing on reliable, energy-efficient software that operates in remote environments with solar power constraints.

You will collaborate with hardware, cloud, and product teams to implement features, optimize power, and ensure field readiness. This role offers meaningful impact on sustainable agriculture and animal welfare.

Qualifications

5+ years of embedded software development experience.
Strong C/C++ skills for resource-constrained devices.
Experience with modern embedded architectures, development practices, and CI/CD.
Experience building connected embedded systems and working with communication protocols.
Solid understanding of low-power system design and energy-constrained devices.

Responsabilités

Design and develop embedded software for next-generation livestock monitoring devices.
Lead firmware development from concept through deployment and field validation.
Build reliable low-power systems using cellular, GNSS, wireless communication, sensors, and on-device machine learning.
Work closely with hardware, cloud, and product teams to bring new features from concept to field deployment.
Drive software quality, architecture, and technical best practices across the platform.
