Job summary

Nofence AS in Trondheim or Molde is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design schematics and PCBs for a solar-assisted device used in livestock management. You will oversee the development from concept through pilot production with a focus on reliability and power efficiency.

You’ll bring up boards, test hardware from prototype to pilot, build lab setups, and collaborate with the embedded team to optimize power consumption where every microamp counts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Boards you have taken from schematic to working hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and PCB layouts, and review designs with the team.
• Bring up new boards, subcircuits and reusable modules.
• Test and validate hardware from first prototype to pilot production.
• Build lab setups and find root causes when things break.
• Work with the embedded team on low power consumption.
