Job summary

Airthings in Oslo is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Developer to advance low-power wireless solutions across B2C/B2B products. Join a global tech team building breathable air quality devices and contribute to drivers, middleware, and cross-domain integration.

You will work with RTOS, ARM Cortex-M MCUs and Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi stacks, shaping firmware under tight resource constraints. We value learning, collaboration and delivering robust, testable code in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years embedded software experience in C.
• Experience with wireless protocols and stacks (BLE, 802.11, 802.15.4).
• RTOS experience preferred; familiarity with nRF5x or TI CC13/26/32.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve complex wireless device drivers.
• Design firmware with memory and power constraints for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across software, hardware and product.
• Maintain test coverage and use RTOS with concurrent threads.
