Job summary

Interwell in Stavanger is seeking an experienced electronics design engineer to join its R&D department. You will design, develop and document electronic products from concept through delivery, with emphasis on high-temperature analog electronics, system design, and product validation for downhole applications.

The role requires a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of hands-on experience, and strong Norwegian and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics design and product development.
• Strong Norwegian and English skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic products and systems.
• Develop analog electronics, including schematics, simulations, and PCB layouts.
• Build, test, and document prototypes.
• Participate in development projects from concept through delivery.
• Support and improve existing products.
• Develop test setups and perform verification and qualification activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, assembly procedures, and QA documentation.
• Work closely with suppliers and colleagues across different disciplines.
• Provide technical support to operational activities when needed.
