Electrical - Senior Engineer

Job summary

IKM in Bergen seeks an experienced engineer for maintenance and modification projects. You will follow up on equipment packages, design solutions per customer requirements, and collaborate with suppliers, disciplines, and clients across studies and execution projects.

English is required; Norwegian is an advantage. The role is full-time in Bergen with a 5-day work week, for a contract period from 01/01/2027 to 31/12/2028.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 5+ years of maintenance and modification project experience.
• Oil and Gas industry experience, ideally with Equinor as client.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Basic EX course (22.5 hours classroom or 6-8 hours online).
• FSE high/low voltage certification including first aid.
• Basic safety training (GSK) with helicopter escape and a valid health certificate.
• English language required; Norwegian an advantage.

Required expertise

• -Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (technical college combined with extensive relevant experience may be considered)


• -5+ years of relevant experience within maintenance and modification projects


• -Experience from the Oil and Gas industry, with preferred experience working with Equinor as a client


• -Excellent collaboration and communication skills


• -Basic EX course (22.5 hours classroom or 6-8 hours online)


• -FSE high and low voltage certification, including first aid


• -Basic safety training (GSK) with helicopter escape and a valid health certificate (can be completed upon need)


• Language: English (Norwegian is an advantage)
