Job summary

Scrambly is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own end-to-end modelling for how we spend and earn money. You will forecast user and cohort value from early signals, influence acquisition spend, and combat fraud, while partnering with engineers and commercial teams.

You will lead modelling initiatives with a small team, reporting to the Head of Data, and help shape the data function as the company scales. Proactivity and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a data scientist working on production models.
• Experience with LTV or ROAS prediction from early behaviour.
• Adtech or mobile performance marketing background with relevant data.
• Strong Python and SQL with production data warehouse experience (BigQuery).
• Rigour in evaluation and ability to ship reliable models.
• Experience deploying models to production and driving business decisions.
• Commercial judgement and clear communication in a small team.
• Self-directed, proactive work style with English at B2+.

Responsibilities

• Value prediction: forecast user and cohort value from early signals.
• Bidding and pricing: model spend to acquire users within margin limits.
• Segmentation and targeting: create scoring by value delivered.
• Fraud and abuse: improve fraud model accuracy and robustness.
• Evaluation: define metrics and maintain out-of-sample discipline.
• Collaboration: work with Head of Data, engineers, and commercial teams.
