Job summary

Artemis Search & Selection AS is assisting an Oslo-based client to strengthen their data engineering team. The role focuses on building data platforms using MS Fabric, Snowflake, DBT, Python, MS SQL Server and T-SQL to deliver insights for clients.

You will work in project teams, collaborating closely with clients, handling data integration and transformation, and contributing to data automation, master data management, data quality and data ops. Norwegian and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Interest in technology with understanding of data structures, data flow and management frameworks.
• 1+ years experience building data platforms.
• Proficiency in one of the technologies listed (MS Fabric, Snowflake, DBT, Python, MS SQL Server, T-SQL).
• Experience with reporting tools like PowerPlatform or Tableau is a bonus.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.

As Data Engineer/Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Building data platforms for their clients in one of the technologies above.
• Integrating and transforming data from different sources into valuable insights for our clients.
• Work with data automation tools, master data systems, data quality and data ops.
• Working in project teams in close interaction with clients.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Interest in technology, good understanding and experience with data structures, data flow and management frameworks.

• A degree in computer science or related engineering discipline
• 1+ years experience building data platforms
• Proficiency in one of the technologies above
• Experience in reporting tools like PowerPlatform or Tableau is a bonus
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
• Experience from the Energy, Aquaculture, Logistics and Finance industries is a bonus
• ML/AI knowledge is a bonus
