Job summary

KONGSBERG Discovery in Norway seeks a senior concept lead to shape future undersea warfare solutions. You will translate early ideas into credible system concepts by coordinating business development, product management, R&D and external researchers.

You will lead cross-functional assessment, determine feasibility, risks and interfaces, and move concepts toward execution with clear ownership and roadmaps. A master's degree in engineering and experience in maritime/defence systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with complex maritime, defence or autonomous systems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage uncertainty.
• Strong communication skills in English and Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Shape and prioritise opportunities into credible concepts and recommendations.
• Develop and assess system concepts, gaps, resources and risks.
• Coordinate early-phase concepts across commercial, product, engineering and research teams.
