Job summary

Dovre Solutions is seeking a drafting specialist to create PFDs, UFDs and P&IDs using Microstation and SmartPlantP&ID for greenfield and brownfield projects. The role covers 2D drawings across process, electrical, instrument, telecom and automation disciplines in a multidisciplinary team.

The candidate will work independently and as part of a team, ensuring quality and on-time delivery. English communication is required; relocation not specified.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in drafting/engineering.
• Experience: min 5 years with SmartPlantP&ID on greenfield projects.
• Proactive, deadline-driven and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Draft PFDs/UFDs in Microstation.
• Draft P&IDs in SmartPlantP&ID and/or Microstation.
• Draft 2D drawings for process, electrical, instrument, telecom and automation.

Function

• Drafting of PFDs/UFDs in Microstation.
• Drafting of P&IDs in SmartPlantP&ID and/or Microstation.
• Drafting of 2D drawings within Electro, Instrument, Telecom and Automation.

Requirements

Required Education:

• Technical College diploma or equivalent.

Required Work Experience:

• Min. 5 years working experience with SmartPlantP&ID from green field projects.
• Ability to work independently in SmartPlantP&ID.
• Ability to work independently in Microstation.
• Working experience from drafting of 2D drawings in Greenfield or Brownfield projects for different disciplines, e.g. Process, Electrical, Instrument, Telecom and Automation.
• Ability to work independently and thorough as well as ability to work in team.
• Multidiscipline understanding.

• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.
• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.
• Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing.
